Our goal

Everyone should be able to use the Kenveil website, the checkout, the withdrawal form and your account area. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How we check

  • Before each release, automated tests open every public page, the checkout and the account screens in a browser and check them with axe for WCAG 2.2 level A and AA problems. The tests fail on any serious or critical finding.
  • The same tests check that pages fit a 360 pixel wide screen without sideways scrolling.
  • We build for keyboard use with visible focus, and we tone down movement when your system asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

  • Automated tests find many problems, but not all of them. The website has not had a full manual audit by an accessibility specialist yet.
  • The checkout, the withdrawal form and your account area need JavaScript.
  • The payment pages of Stripe and other payment services are run by other companies. Their accessibility is up to them.
  • This statement covers the website. The Kenveil app for Windows and Linux and the browser extension are not covered by it yet.

No certification

This statement is our own assessment. Nobody has certified the accessibility of Kenveil, and we don’t claim that the website fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.

The European Accessibility Act

Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) sets accessibility requirements for online shops in the European Union, through the laws of each member state (in Germany, the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz). This page describes how our website meets them, as far as we know today.

Report a problem

If something on this website is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us: write to the email address in the imprint, or open a support ticket. Tell us the page and what went wrong. A person reads every report and answers you, and we fix what we can. If you need something from a page in another form, ask and we will send it to you.

If you are not satisfied

If our answer does not solve the problem, you can turn to the authority that supervises accessibility in your country.
