Terms of service
The agreement for using Kenveil. Your account, your license, fair use, what Kenveil can and cannot promise, and how either of us can end it.

About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Kenveil named in the imprint (“we”, “us”). They apply to the Kenveil app for Windows, your Kenveil account, the Kenveil for Chrome extension, this website and the services our server provides to them. By creating an account or activating a license, you agree to them.
How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy, and how refunds work in the refund policy.
The service
Kenveil helps you see and reduce how your own accounts, usernames and public details connect. It includes eleven tools: Graph, Simulator and Fixes, Split, Post, Canary, Relay, Routes, Watch, Mirror, Reborn and Lock. Some of them work entirely on your PC; others rely on the Kenveil server, for example scans, Watch, Canary and Relay.
Kenveil runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Some features need other software: Relay needs the official WireGuard for Windows app, text checks in Post need a text recognition language installed in Windows, and the browser extension needs Chrome, Edge or Brave, version 120 or later. New versions are published on the download page; the app does not update itself yet.
Your account
- Use an email address that belongs to you, and keep your password to yourself. Choose one you do not use anywhere else, and consider turning on two-step sign-in.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and sign out everywhere else in the app, or contact support.
- An account on its own does not include a license. You need a license key to use the tools.
Your license
- One license, every tool. A Kenveil license includes all eleven tools. There are no tiers.
- Three PCs. You can use one license on up to three PCs at a time.
- Moving to another PC. You can release a PC yourself up to three times in 30 days, with at least 24 hours between releases. Beyond that, you can ask for a release, and a member of staff reviews the request.
- Term. Licenses are sold for 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or Lifetime. The term starts when the key is issued, not when you first activate it. A Lifetime license has no expiry date.
- Offline use. While it runs, the app checks your license every hour, and it keeps working offline for up to 72 hours.
- Your key. Keep your key private: anyone who has it can activate it.
- Buying. Licenses are currently sold in the Kenveil Discord. Staff give you the price and payment details in a ticket and deliver your key once your payment has arrived.
Acceptable use
Kenveil is for understanding and protecting your own identity. When you use it, you agree to the following.
- Use it on yourself only. Scans start from accounts you verify as yours and from your own email address. Do not try to verify, scan or monitor accounts that are not yours, and do not use Kenveil to find, track or expose another person.
- Use Relay lawfully. Do not use Relay for anything illegal, to attack or scan other systems, to send spam or to hide abuse. We may end Relay connections that are used this way.
- Leave the service intact. Do not attack, overload or probe the Kenveil servers, work around license checks or rate limits, or try to reach data that is not yours. Where the law allows you to analyse software, for example to make it work with other programs, these terms do not take that right away.
Third-party platforms and software
Kenveil reads public information from other platforms and works alongside software made by other companies.
- Scans read public profiles from platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Reddit, DEV and Hacker News, and the browser extension reads your own profiles on others. Those platforms can change or limit what they make available at any time, which can make results incomplete or stop a source from working.
- Kenveil never edits your accounts on other platforms. Every change is one you make yourself, under that platform’s rules.
- Reborn guides you through removal requests that you file yourself. Whether and how quickly a service removes a listing is up to that service.
- Support and sales happen on Discord, and Relay uses WireGuard for Windows. Their own terms apply to them.
Estimates are estimates
Kenveil’s score, from 0 to 100, estimates how linkable your accounts look to an observer, based on what Kenveil can see. It is not a measure of anonymity, and a low score does not mean nobody could identify you. Kenveil can only find what its sources show, so it can miss connections, and a same-username find stays a possible match until you confirm it.
Relay hides your home connection’s address from the sites you visit. It does not make you anonymous.
Use Kenveil as a guide, together with your own judgement.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Kenveil available and reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be available without interruption, for example during maintenance, updates or problems at our hosting provider. Relay currently runs on a single server in Spain.
We improve Kenveil over time and may change or replace features. If a change would affect your use of a license you have paid for more than slightly, we will tell you in advance, and if you are a consumer you keep the rights the law gives you, including, where it applies, the right to end the contract.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Kenveil at any time and delete your account under Settings, then Account. Deleting your account also removes your license and its PCs from our server. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by scanning other people, abusing Relay or attacking the service. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we end your access because you broke these terms, no refund is due for the remaining term, unless the law says otherwise.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law, such as product liability law, does not allow liability to be limited.
For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential to this contract: one that makes proper use of Kenveil possible in the first place and on which you may rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for a contract of this kind.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if Kenveil does not work as described.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator named in the imprint is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you normally live, including any right to bring a claim in the courts there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Kenveil gains features or the law changes. The version and date at the top of this page show which version applies. We announce significant changes in advance, on this website and in the Kenveil Discord, so you can review them before they apply to you.
Contact
The operator’s details are in the imprint. The quickest way to reach a person is a ticket in the Kenveil Discord.
