How a gift works

  1. Buy a key for them.Choose a term below and pay as usual. The checkout marks it as a key for other people, so it isn't added to your own account.
  2. Print or send the card.After paying you see the key, with a gift card to print or save, and the key as a file.
  3. They redeem it.In the Kenveil app or on kenveil.com, with their own free account. From then on it's theirs.

Questions about gifts

What does the person I give it to need?

A PC with Windows 10 or 11 or with Linux (64-bit), and a free Kenveil account. They redeem the key in the Kenveil app or on kenveil.com under Account › Licenses.

Can I see what they do with it?

No. The key becomes theirs when they redeem it. Their accounts, scans and settings are in their own Kenveil account; you never see any of it.

When does the term start?

When the key is issued, that is, when you buy it. A 1-year key bought on 1 December runs until 1 December next year. Lifetime never ends, which makes it the easiest gift.

Can I buy it while signed in?

Yes. The checkout from this page ticks “These keys are for other people”, so the key isn’t added to your account. After paying you see the key with a gift card to print, and your account keeps it under Orders, where you also see once it was redeemed, never by whom.

Can I pay with crypto?

Yes: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other ways to pay at checkout, or crypto straight from your wallet.
